Leicester City will make the short trip to Wolverhampton on Friday evening for a Premier League clash between two of the division’s biggest overachievers this season.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will move up to sixth in the table if they win, and they remain on course to equal or better last season’s seventh place finish, which is their best-ever in the Premier League. Leicester have a 10-point cushion to fifth place meaning Champions League football is almost certainly heading back to the King Power Stadium next term.
Wolves vs Leicester City Latest Odds
Adama Traore dislocated his shoulder in Wolves’ last game against Manchester United which ended 0-0, but managed to carry on before a separate leg injury forced him off. Having had two weeks to recover, the Spaniard could well return at some point on Friday. Wolves remain without defender Ruben Vinagre.
Leicester have Nampalys Mendy and Daniel Amartey out, while Wes Morgan is also uncertain to play.
Wolves have been enjoying another successful campaign, one striking aspect of their season has been the difference between their performances in the first and second halves of matches. If the matches ended at half time, Wolves would be bottom of the Premier League with just nine of their total of 35 goals coming in the opening 45 minutes. Which is Bizarre. Leicester too have been considerably better after the break, netting 38 per cent of their goals in the first half.
It would make sense to back goals friday night between these two teams.
